September 25, 2015 (around 12 am)
I recall being in my current house, within the hallway area right between the kitchen and living room. I was in the process of considerable house cleaning (taking out trash and washing down the floors, I believe).
At some point in this, a CD player turned on in the kitchen that began playing a song by a band named Godsmack, called "Bad religion" (I was introduced to this band through friends, when I was around 15).
This version of the song that played in my dream, though, was much more unsettling. The instruments sounded washed out, and were overwhelmed by this...loud, unsettling, monotone strumming (tough to describe...). The vocalist was also very different here, as the vocals were similar to someone deeply roaring/growling out the lyrics instead of singing them.
After a short while of this song playing (I recall there were one or two others in the house with me. Not entirely sure if they were demon or angel spirits), I said out loud something like "This song just isn't appropriate...", and went over to the small blue CD player (something we used to own, actually) and opened the tray, taking the CD out. The cover of the CD was completely white, save for something that looked like a flame of fire designed around the middle.
With the CD now in my left hand, I proceeded to bend it in half and squeeze, attempting to shatter it in two. I recall this being quite tough to do, and was rather surprised at the difficulty. I believe that I at least managed to bend it enough to permanently damage it.
Afterwards, I took the damaged CD into the utility room by the kitchen, where there was a bag of trash collected in the center of the room (nothing else seemed to be present); which was toppled over and spilling out a bit onto the floor. I threw the CD in the trash bag and proceeded to pick up the rest of the spilled contents back into it.
From here, this part of the dream ended...

- Godsmack's "Bad Religion" playing in the kitchen
As I mentioned above, I became introduced to this band at around 1999, when I was over at a best friend's house one day after school. I was introduced to heavy rock/metal music from our mutual group of friends just a year earlier, and enjoyed hearing this band's sound when I began listening to various tracks on the CD.
This particular song, however, at the very beginning had about a 15-second clip of a sermon by (I believe) Kenneth Copeland, where he was affirming Scriptures such as Isaiah 54:17, "...our righteousness is of Him, saith the Lord". And immediately after that quote, the song would begin with a heavy intro guitar riff, followed by Sully Erna's vocals emphatically yelling "Get BACK!", as the song would break out into a catchy heavy rhythm of guitars, bass, and drums.
(Lord, please draw every member of this band to Your Son, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ; that He may raise them up at the last day and prepare an everlasting place for all of them in Heaven)
- Very unsettling version of the song
I believe this clearly represented the spiritual influence from which the song originated: a demon.
Ezekiel 28:13 testifies that Satan, before rebellion was found in him (Isaiah 14:12), was a type of highest worship music leader in Heaven; with musical instruments, evidently, even embedded into his very body. Therefore, while a heavy rock band named Godsmack may be a more obvious work that is not of God -- there are many, many, other forms and genres of music which are just as much inspired, and are of, the wicked one.
- CD being unnaturally tough to bend and break into two
I believe that this symbolizes how much "resistance" this power of rock music was giving me. We wrestle not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). My strained efforts to just bend the CD represented part of the challenging fight in repenting and turning away from this area of my flesh -- which I once loved.
- Bag of trash collected in center of utility room
Still seeking God on the spiritual significance of a house's (person's) "utility room" ...perhaps this represents the mind? That is, the source where electricity (thoughts, etc.) is controlled, via the breaker box; along with the water pipes (water of life?) for the washer and dryer, etc.
