In this encounter, as I became lucid (i.e. cognizant that I was in a dream), I eventually found myself in the front yard area of this church that was just ahead of me and over to the right. As I walked further on the grass lawn toward it, I had the intention of then stepping inside (and, for some reason, I had perceived that this was a Methodist denomination church?). The location of this church also seemed to be on the corner of about 9th street and business '60 in our town; just down the road from Main St. (of which, I've had some dreams, also).
However -- I then suddenly notice this abnormally tall person appear, about 10 yards ahead, who yelled out "Hey!" to me (someone briefly seemed to appear with him, also).
This giant male figure grinned with a hint of a sneer and pointed at me, as he then approached.
His form was at least 14 ft tall and lanky, wearing baggy blue jeans and a long sleeve button-down flannel shirt with a long sleeve underneath it ("coincidentally" similar to a fashion style that certain friends of mine wore, when we were teenagers). His hair was like a flaming red color and parted down the middle; coming a bit down past his ears.
(...also, "coincidentally" similar to a hairstyle which I had, as a teenager)
Through discernment of the Holy Spirit, I perceived this wasn't a friendly spirit (demon) and began to ask him if Jesus Christ came in the flesh (1 John 4:1). A brief answer, I believe, then came, which wasn't an affirming "yes". I started to experience fear but suppressed it as best as I could -- as I then began firmly walking toward it and authoritatively declared the following:
"YOUR end is the lake of fire with your father, the devil!"
I was now standing directly in front of him, with the top of my 6'3" head not even reaching its belt line.
"It BURNS with SULFUR!"
After declaring this, the giant immediately hunched over -- sharply crying out in sudden pain.
I awoke just after this.

- Grassy front yard area setting of Church
Being that churches are a house of worship to, and for, the Lord, the grassy front yard of this church reminds me of Psalm 23:2. I remember, also, that the weather was clear and, evidently, nice and warm out.
- Appearance of red-haired giant, on the Church lawn
It is written, that we wrestle not against flesh and blood... (Ephesians 6:12; one of the first Scriptures I ever memorized on my heart). Evil spirits manifesting upon the very boundaries of church properties, then, does not in the least surprise me (much less being on the insides of most churches today, either!).
- Giant pointing and sneering at me
The very manner of this giant yelling out "Hey!" to me, and while pointing at and subtly sneering at me, reminds me of a certain fellow that I went to Jr. High School with who bullied me. He, also, had red hair and was taller than me (different hair style than the giant, and obviously, not as tall!). In those days, I was fearful of him; and had been very humiliated by him at least once for not accepting his taunts and demands to fistfight him, one day in town.
I believe then, that one of the functions of this giant demon was as a spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7).
(And Lord, please save that man who once bullied me!)
- Giant's manner of dress, and hair style
To review here, this giant's dress style was directly similar to the style of clothes that me and my circle of friends, in those days, wore (around 1998-2000): very baggy pants, and long-sleeved flannel style shirts with a t-shirt on underneath. This being's hair style was directly reminiscent of my own at that time, as well: straight longer hair, parted down the middle and going about past my ears.
Therefore, this immediately indicates to me that this demon was also a type of familiar spirit.
- Me authoritatively declaring its end
This actually was advice that my own Dad gave to me on the phone, not too long before I had this dream: to remind such demons of their end with their father, Satan, in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10). And, despite any sort of feigning behavior to the contrary -- every foul spirit, from the Accuser to the lowest demon, fears their ever-closer, final judgment from God's Great, White Throne (Revelation 20:11).
(Lord, I am thankful for how You used my earthly Dad to minister to me, in these days of teaching me. Please draw him, Your "prodigal son", back to you!)
- Giant's agony-filled reaction
...that last line, though, was not given by my Dad on the phone; and neither did I meditate or plan on saying this, either. This was the Holy Spirit's working, for sure! My saying this line, then, must have manifested a measure of God's judgment and torment upon this foul being (Matthew 18:29).
