February 16, 2011 (around 7 a.m.)
In this dream, I found myself walking along a dirt road, with fields on either side, leading towards a T-junction.
It felt like a clear, summer day.
Once I reached the junction, a man who looked to be around my age (late 20's, maybe early 30's) appeared and was walking past me, to the right. His clothing reminded me of an era long ago, as he was wearing this sleeveless purple-colored tunic. He had medium-length, black wavy hair that went down slightly over his ears. He also had a full black beard of short, trimmed length. His skin was dark complected, like an Arab's, and I believe he had brown eyes.
(honestly, he looked a lot like the guy who played Ares on the old 90's TV show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.)
For some reason, I had the impression that his name was Enoch. So, I approached him and verbally introduced myself, calling him Enoch.
He then corrected me, saying "Call me Christian".
During this exchange as we were walking, a third being was present and closely by my left side -- that "Christian" did not acknowledge. This being reminded me of one of those Treasure Troll dolls; it was about over 4 ft. high, and had wild purple/pink hair that went down past its tailbone [I used to get goosebumps recalling this in my mind].
Nonetheless, I continued to follow "Christian" and was eagerly speaking to him about something. He politely spoke back, but seemed intently focused on something else.
Suddenly -- he then took off in a full sprint down the road!
He was supernaturally fast!
I then proceeded to sprint myself and tried to catch up with him.
Being in a dream state and in my evident soul/spirit body, I experienced no cardiovascular fatigue; neither did I experience any athletic limitations that I would've had, otherwise, within my natural body. Despite my best efforts though, I could not come close in catching up to him -- as he was at least 100 feet ahead of me down the dirt road.
Once over a small hill in the distance, I noticed he then turned right into a wooden dock area which led towards a huge, metallic ship docked within the adjoining, still waters.
The last thing I clearly remember: I finally made it to this dock, but there were, by then, many people walking about.
I had lost sight of "Christian"...
In Scripture, purple is a color associated with royalty and kings (whether the kings in question are godly or evil). Within the overall context of meeting this man, however, I believe that his wearing of purple denoted a positive about him.
- Purple and Royalty
...(16)And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band. (17)And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, (18)And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! (19)And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him. (20)And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him...
...(1)Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged. (2)And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, (3)And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
(4)Pilate therefore went forth again, and Pilate saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. (5)Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And saith unto them, Behold the man! (6)When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. (7)The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God...
...(14)And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. (15)And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us...
- Why did this man call himself "Christian"?
Altogether, I believe that he was a spirit of the Lord (and not a deceiving spirit).
Reason being, in addition to him being dressed in purple (which, again, symbolizes royalty), he did not even acknowledge the demon spirit to my left, nor did he focus much of his attention on me; he was clearly intent on fulfilling some manner of business ahead of him. Finally -- I really didn't sense or perceive any manner of darkness about him.
- Call me Christian...
...(21)And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord. (22)Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. (23)Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. (24)For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. (25)Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: (26)And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
(27)And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. (28)And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar...
...(24)And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. (25)But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness. (26)For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. (27)King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. (28)Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. (29)And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds...
I Peter 4:12-18
...(12)Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: (13)But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (14)If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. (15)But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. (16)Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf...
- Why did I have the initial impression that his name was Enoch?
...this is still mysterious to me. Could he have been the Enoch, Noah's great grand-father, from Scripture? According to God's Word, Enoch pleased God and was a prophet, and was translated by Him before experiencing physical death.
Lord knows, at this point...
- Scriptural Testimony of Enoch
...(18)And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: (19)And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: (20)And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
(21)And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: (22)And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: (23)And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: (24)And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him...
...(1)Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (2)For by it the elders obtained a good report. (3)Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
(4)By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (5)By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God...
...(14)And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, (15)To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (16)These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage...
- Why was this "Treasure Troll", humanoid-like creature by my left side?
This entity was standing by my side, to my left, as I initially spoke to Christian. And I would used to chills, or goosebumps, when recalling this imagery to my mind. Certainly, it was a demon spirit; yet, I was also, much, a "spiritual babe" in Christ, at this point in my walk. Therefore...I'm not entirely sure exactly why it was there with me.
I believe this was, in part, him placing utmost priority on the business which the Lord had for him (maybe it also had to do with that demon beside me?). Either way -- his speed was just incredible! In addition, I believe that this sheer supernatural speed of his was another manifestation of the Holy Spirit powerfully indwelling him.
I was genuinely surprised, also, at how my soul/spirit body felt no fatigue, whatsoever, in my full-out sprinting attempt to catch up with him. This phenomena, I believe, points to I Corinthians 15:44's testimony that we possess both a natural body (physical) and a physical body.
- The King's Business Requires Haste
I Samuel 21:8-10
...(8)And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king's business required haste. (9)And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
(10)And David arose, and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath...
II Chronicles 35:20-21
...(20)After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Carchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him. (21)But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not...
...(1)And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. (2)And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. (3)And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. (4)And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that. (5)And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. (6)And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully...
- Afterward, why did Christian veer off into that right-side dock, and into that ship?
...still much a mystery to be. Yet, the dock's still waters does remind me of Psalm 23:2. And, again, by the time that I had gotten there, not only had I lost sight of him -- but there were many "people" now walking about, also. These people, I believe, were masquerading, evil spirits (II Corinthians 11:15).
