I was 19 at the time and living with three other roommates in a two-story, four bedroom rental house.
Late one evening (maybe Fri. or Sat.?), I had just returned home from my job at the movie theater and noticed that “Jay” had invited company over (name changed for privacy). And after a short while, we all made our way into Jay's bedroom (master bedroom on the top floor) to have a group session on a Ouija board.
At the time, it seemed like a cool, thrilling thing to do (and hey: everyone was down for it).
Once we were all seated along the hardwood floor around the board, someone shut off the light. Jay's candle-lit room now reflected our faces and the game board...as well as a line of recent movie posts along his bedroom walls (...wonder where he got them from?). Over to my immediate left to where I was seated was a decorative, wall-mounted mirror of my other roommate, Donny's, placed upon the floor; which had a colorful, multi-dragon design placed around the border (I believe he ordered it from one of those old Bud K catalogs. In either case, the title pic of this entry has a similar photo of it).
So the session then started pretty much as most of them seem to do, with each of us asking the “game” board a series of typical-type questions, as the planchette our hands were placed upon would then easily glide across the smooth, candle-lit surface; resting briefly upon different letters or numbers to spell out one's answer. Certain folks in the group, of course, swore that they weren't the ones moving the pointer. As for me, I do recall there being a subtle, yet tangibly firm force guiding that game piece around the board.
It seemed to emanate from just below the planchette, itself – as opposed to discerning any sort of pulling or “muscling” movement from anyone else in the group.
So then came my turn, and I wanted to ask it something more bold.
I asked the spirit if it could reveal itself.
The immediate answer spelled out and read something like this:
L-O-O-K I-N T-H-E M-I-R-R-O-R.
Now, quite curious and alert, I leaned over to my left and peered into the dragon mirror's reflection, as a few others gathered around it, also.
In the mirror's reflection, staring back at me was this visible outline of what looked to be an old woman's facial features becoming superimposed over mine! Those whom had gathered around the mirror attested to seeing this change. also. Recalling further, I even remember taking the extra time to carefully study and observe my face in the reflection.
(I tell you, it didn't go away)
As I recall, shortly after this the Ouija board session abruptly ended after a certain person in our group became agitated (can't exactly recall over what) and cursed out the spirit operating behind the board. We then all left and went somewhere else for the remainder of the night...

From the brief time I remained in that house, me and my other roommates began experiencing various paranormal events; from evil dreams, to shearing cabinet doors slam shut when no one else was in the kitchen, etc.
