Matthew 26:26-30
• Blood of the New Testament • shed for many • shed for the remission of sins
...(26)And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. (27)And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; (28)For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (29)But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

...(14)And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. (15)And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: (16)For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
(17)And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: (18)For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. (19)And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. (20)Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. (21)But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. (22)And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
(23)And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing...
...(39)And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. (40)And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
(41)And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, (42)Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. (43)And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. (44)And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (45)And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, (46)And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. (47)And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. (48)But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?...

...(47)Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (48)I am that bread of life. (49)Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. (50)This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. (51)I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
(52)The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
(53)Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (54)Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (55)For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. (56)He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. (57)As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. (58)This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

...(22)And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: (23)Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. (24)But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
(25)And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. (26)Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. (27)For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. (28)Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (29)For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (30)Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. (31)Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears...

...(19)Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. (20)Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
(21)But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; (22)Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: (23)For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (24)Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (25)Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (26)To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
(27)Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (28)Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (29)Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: (30)Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
(31)Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law...

...(6)For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (7)For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. (8)But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (9)Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (10)For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (11)And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
(12)Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (13)(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. (14)Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come...

(13)There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (14)Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. (15)I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. (16)The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? (17)For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

...(20)When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. (21)For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
(22)What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. (23)For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: (24)And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. (25)After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (26)For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
(27)Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (28)But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (29)For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. (30)For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. (31)For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. (32)But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world...

...(6)Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. (7)But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: (8)The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: (9)Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; (10)Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (11)But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; (12)Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
(13)For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: (14)How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
(15)And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (16)For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (17)For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. (18)Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. (19)For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, (20)Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. (21)Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. (22)And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (23)It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. (24)For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (25)Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; (26)For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (27)And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (28)So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation...

...(4)For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
(5)Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: (6)In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. (7)Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
(8)Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (9)Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (10)By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (11)And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (12)But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (13)From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. (14)For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
(15)Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, (16)This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17)And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (18)Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. (19)Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (20)By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (21)And having an high priest over the house of God; (22)Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (23)Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (24)And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: (25)Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
(26)For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (27)But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (28)He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: (29)Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (30)For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
(31)It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God...

(8)Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (9)Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. (10)We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. (11)For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
(12)Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. (13)Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. (15)By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. ...(1)Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, (2)Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
(3)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (4)To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, (5)Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (6)Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: (7)That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: (8)Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (9)Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls...
...(17)And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: (18)Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; (19)But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (20)Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, (21)Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
(22)Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: (23)Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever...

(6)This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. Ch. 8: Overcoming Demons
My conversion to Christ from spiritualism occurred in 1929, but I was not free from demon interference for many years after I entered the pastorate. To get Bible training, I enrolled in Northwestern Bible Schools in Minneapolis. I transferred to Bethel Seminary in Saint Paul and studied there for three years. In 1935 I married Alice Schmoldt and took my first pastorate in Bottineau, North Dakota.
The influence of demonism continued strong among my relatives, so Alice and I took our children to Oregon in 1949. I never preached on demonism in my own church except when the subject came up in my regular sermons. But when other churches had me speak on demonism in special meetings, the demons I had once welcomed into my body in seances attacked my mind and vocal cords.
Sometimes my memory would go blank; other time my throat would constrict and I couldn't speak. As soon as I prayed for help through the power of Jesus' blood, the attack ceased and I continued. These assaults continued sporadically for thirteen years before my spiritual defenses were built up to keep demons from penetrating my body. As my spiritual armor became strong, I was able to help others assailed by spirits...

Chapter 15 Search for Deliverance
...Some weeks went by. I was still seeking. The battle was getting fiercer. Lucifer was stepping up his efforts to keep me chained and bound. As the battle grew fiercer, so other things happened.
I wandered into many different churches and sometimes heard the blood of Jesus mentioned. At that, a dark force within took control of me, and strange things occurred. I acted in inexplicable, satanic ways. I snatched Bibles and tore them. I threw hymnbooks around the church. I knocked communion trays out of the hands of those who were taking around the bread and wine.
I would fall to the floor screaming, hissing, and slithering like a snake. Then, quite suddenly I would come to myself and remember nothing. Very often I would run out of the church sobbing and crying...
...Outside the churches I could feel an unseen hand pushing me into doing the very things I wanted to give up. Before I gave my heart to Jesus I took part in witchcraft, drugs, and prostitution without hesitation, but now that I was seeking to live a Christian life, the things I wanted to part with I sought out as if against my will. I was made to do them, controlled by some evil power deep within.
When in my wanderings in and out of the churches I heard the real gospel preached, the evil forces within became activated. I went out undelivered.
I visited many churches. Many evil manifestations continued. I saw the bewildered and concerned looks on the faces of people when I came around, and I too was confused, more confused than the ministers themselves. I wondered why they didn't do something for me...

Dream Entry Blog: Being Led through Wal-Mart -- Pleading His Blood
In this dream, I found myself in what appeared to be a Walmart store (very much like the Super Center in our town...does this represent a strong hold?) in clear lucid-state. I was located at the back part of the store near a bin in an aisle way, when I began to be gently moved through the different aisle ways, and in and out of the shelving aisles (I perceived this to be the Holy Spirit). And as I was being brought down the main back aisle, I then became surrounded by people; of whom I perceived to be demons in disguise.
Instead of being on-guard this time and ready to fight, I sought here to simply trust God with whatever happened, and began pleading the blood of Jesus upon every person that passed by me, as I was gently being led around.
I then came across this old-looking man who was wearing a brownish/tan flannel shirt, whom I perceived to be evil. I plead the blood of Jesus over him -- and he very much seemed to not like what I was doing.
Continuing to plead in prayer, I then proceeded to grab his left arm with my right hand--
*ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz!!!*
In what felt like a great electrical jolt (minus the pain, mysteriously), this evil old man instantaneously jerked away from me -- as I was still holding his now-severed left arm! And, just as mysteriously, he had already generated a new limb (with corresponding clothing) by the very short time I had looked over at him again.
This gentle leading then continued as I kept at it and plead the blood of Jesus upon every "human being" that I approached and passed by.
Near the end, I had passed by the form of a young boy on my left-hand side; no older looking than 5 or 6. I plead over him, and he responded to me with something like "...who is Jesus?".
I responded, "He is our Lord and Savior, who takes our sins away. You'll live with Him in His Kingdom, forever." As I was then led away again, I started weeping and remember seeing three more young children ahead of me (all boys, as I recall) as the dream ended.

- Stephen Hanson The Shedding of Blood (June 13, 2017)
"The shedding of my blood was an event that poured forth my love unto all humanity. But many have abused my blood; for they assume that they sin no more. The enemy has caused them to think that they have no need for forgiveness. It is a doctrine that some foolish teachers have taught. For I say that I will bring my people unto perfection but that will not happen until you meet Me face-to-face.
My blood is a sanctifying force. It is greater and more pure than anything upon this earth. It more valuable than any riches you could acquire. The blood of a thousand goats and lambs could never begin to equal this.
In times past many bulls and rams were given as a sacrifice for the sins of the people. But it never began to make man pure from his sins. And now, you have priests and other men, who say that your sins are forgiven. I tell you that is is blasphemy! It is even worse than the shedding of the blood of an animal.
For the blood that has flowed in ages past, has filled up the cups. It has ran down the altars. It has stained the robes of the priests. But the blood that was shed innocently, does not leave a stain on hearts. It wipes away every sin. It renews your life like the eagles; and it makes you pure unto eternal life.
Don't think that you will ever stop sinning. Don't think that you have already arrived at perfection. But I will make you whole and complete in Me. I will cause you to be renewed like the sparrow. And I will give you a feast like you have never imagined before. In my Father's kingdom I am waiting for you. Continue the race that is set before you. Walk as ones that would know the road ahead. And I will indeed pour out blessings upon you.
The darkness will not invade your tent. I Am He that calls you forth. "
