Romans 1:8-14
...(8)First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. (9)For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; (10)Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. (11)For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; (12)That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
(13)Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. (14)I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise...

Romans 11:28-36
...(28)As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. (29)For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. (30)For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: (31)Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. (32)For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
(33)O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! (34)For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? (35)Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
(36)For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen...

...(3)For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (4)For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: (5)So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (6)Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophecy according to the proportion of faith; (7)Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; (8)Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
(9)Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (10)Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; (11)Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; (12)Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; (13)Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality...

...(1)Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. (2)Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. (3)Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
(4)Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. (5)And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. (6)And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. (7)But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. (8)For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; (9)To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; (10)To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another diverse kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
(11)But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will...
...(28)And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. (29)Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? (30)Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
(31)But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

(1)Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. (2)And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. (3)And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
(4)Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, (5)Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; (6)Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; (7)Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
(8)Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. (9)For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. (10)But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. (11)When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (12)For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (13)And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

(1)Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. (2)For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. (3)But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. (4)He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
(5)I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
(6)Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? (7)And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? (8)For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? (9)So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air. (10)There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. (11)Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
(12)Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church...

...(1)I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, (2)With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (3)Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (4)There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; (5)One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (6)One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
(7)But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (8)Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (9)(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? (10)He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) ...(6)If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. (7)But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. (8)For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. (9)This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. (10)For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
(11)These things command and teach. (12)Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (13)Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. (14)Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
(15)Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. (16)Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee...

...(1)Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. (2)For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; (3)How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (4)God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?...

...(12)Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (13)Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (14)But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (15)Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
(16)Do not err, my beloved brethren.
(17)Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (18)Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures...

...(7)But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. (8)And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. (9)Use hospitality one to another without grudging. (10)As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. CHAPTER II THE OPERATION OF DEMONS
...We need to preach faith and preach the Word of God to people and get them to believe God. Then we need to expect God to manifest Himself through the Holy Ghost in the gifts of the Spirit, as He wills. "The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal," and is given as the Spirit wills. Not as I will. If I were doing it, I would get it all messed up. I'm sure that there would be some people that I would heal, that the Lord wouldn't. Then there are others that I wouldn't and He does. So it's a good thing that man isn't doing it. In our small thinking, we wouldn't be able to do it as it should be done. But thank God, He knows.
He went on to talk to me for some time about this spiritual gift of discerning of spirits. Discerning of spirits is supernatural insight into the realm of spirits. It has to do with spirits, not people. People may be motivated sometimes by certain spirits but it still has to do with the spirits and not the person.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were down at Philippi and there was a little maiden with the spirit of divination or fortune telling. She followed behind them on the streets and said that they were servants of the most High God who were to come to them to show them the way of salvation. Everything she said was so. She knew that. But who wants the devil testifying for them? Certainly not. I'm sure that Paul didn't just carry discerning of spirits around with him and turn it off and on when he wanted to. He didn't deal with it the first few days. She followed them a number of days. Why, do you suppose, he did not deal with that beforehand? It's my conviction that the reason he didn't was because the Spirit didn't give him discerning of spirits about it. But one day He did give him discerning of spirits about it and when He did, he turned and spoke to the evil spirit, not the woman. He told the spirit to come out of her. That spirit came out and she was delivered. The devil never likes it when God is moving. Her masters got mad about it and had Paul and Silas put in jail.
Discerning of spirits has to do with spirits and not with people. Too many times people have told me that they think the Lord has given them the gift of discernment. In the first place there really isn't such a thing as the gift of discernment spoken of in the Bible. There is though, the discerning of spirits. Sometimes these people are referring to the gift of the word of knowledge; but if you'll talk to those folk for a little while, it won't take you very long to find out that the gift they have is not a spiritual gift at all. It's just a suspicion. They are suspicious of everybody. They see a "bugger" behind every bush. They see one under every bed and in every church and everywhere they go. Everything they see is always something bad. They never see anything good. I want you to know that in the realm of the Spirit there are good spirits as well as bad spirits. If you have discerning of spirits operating, you're going to see angels sometimes as well as demons...

Chapter 5: Spiritual Warfare
Baptism
...When I had first renounced my past life and accepted Yeshua as my Savior, I did not receive my spiritual gifts at that time. I had scheduled myself to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. From the time that I had scheduled this appointment with God to the day that I was baptized, I had gone through major demonic attack. When I had finally been baptized, I was healed of all things, including a sexually transmitted disease that I had picked up during my previous promiscuous lifestyle after my wife had left me.
After I was baptized, I had noticed some things that I had not seen in the past. When someone would try to intimidate me because I was a Christian, or they would purposely do things in an attempt to steer me away from Christianity, I had noticed that their eyes were different than most people’s eyes. Their eyes were filled with blackness, as if they had enlarged pupils, covering the entire iris (the colored part of the eye). It was not as you see in horror movies or have read in books, such as my first novel, where the entire eyeballs are black. There was still the whiteness of the sclera, but the entire iris was black. I would later learn that this was one of my spiritual gifts.
Over time, I had also noticed small twinkling lights or shifting shadows in my peripheral vision, usually when I was alone. Of course, I had dismissed these gifts as most others would. I had thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me. I would later learn that these were signs from God that a demon was within my presence. I wish that all Christians were given this gift so that it would be easier for us all to know when it is time to rebuke demons. Perhaps we could all have this gift if we simply ask for it in the name of Jesus. I have asked for this ability to be enhanced so that I would always know for certain when evil is close by, and I have received it.
Be careful what you wish for, as the old saying goes. As frightening as my life has become, I am so thankful for this gift from God; and I pray that He never takes it away from me...
Dream Warfare Journal Blog
January 22, 2017 (between 7 and 8 a.m.)
In this lucid dream, I found myself standing in the kitchen area of my current house.
After looking around momentarily, I then peered up into the ceiling. To my awe and amazement, the ceiling looked like the kitchen floor, with just enough gaps between the boards for me to peer through.
Looking up past the floor of the ceiling -- was an exact copy of my kitchen and house!
Immediately after this, by faith, I then willed myself through the cracks of the ceiling and up into the "next level" of my kitchen.
Immediately after this, a kind of "level up" screen then appeared in front of my eyes. As I recall, there was a manifested horizontal row of icons laid out (like a modern video game) where a cursor then moved one spot over to the right, from the first icon on the left.
I was then explained (via small, still voice) that this was an enhancement in gifts/abilities.
Curiously, I recall there being more than two additional icons along this horizontal row.
The voice then stated that I could not yet see their eyes (...indicating the next level?).

Very noteworthy that this occurred on the first Sunday after President Trump was sworn into office.
