PART 1 - INTRODUCTORY AND GENERAL
I. THE MAGNIFICENCE OF PRAYER
2. “Why has God established prayer?” asks Pascal. And Pascal’s first answer to his own great question is this. God has established prayer in the moral world in order “to communicate to His creatures the dignity of causality.” That is to say, to give us a touch and a taste of what it is to be a Creator.
But then, “there are some things ultimate and incausable,” says Bacon, that interpreter of nature. And whatever things are indeed ultimate to us, and incausable by us, them God “hath put in His own power.” But there are many other things, and things that far more concern us, that He communicates to us to have a hand of cause and creation in. Not immediately, and at our own rash and hot hand, and at our precipitate and importunate will, but always under His Holy Hand, and under the tranquillity of His Holy Will. We hold our office and dignity of causality and creation under the Son, just as He holds His again under the Father. But instead of that lessening our dignity, to us, it rather ennobles and endears our dignity.
All believers are agreed that they would rather hold their righteousness of Christ than of themselves; and so would all praying men: they would rather that all things had their spring and rise and rule in the wisdom and the love and the power of God, than in their own wisdom and love and power, even if they had the wisdom and the love and the power for such an office. But then, again, just as all believing men put on Jesus Christ to justification of life, so do they all put on, under Him, their royal robe and their priestly diadem and breastplate. And that, not as so many beautiful ornaments, beautiful as they are, but as instruments and engines of divine power.
“Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel,”— as He clothes His priests with salvation,—“ Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons, and concerning the work of My hands command ye me.”
What a thing for God to say to man! What a magnificent office! What a more than royal dignity!
What a gracious command, and what a sure encouragement is that to pray! For ourselves, first, as His sons,— if His prodigal and dishonourable sons, - and then for our fellows, even if they are as prodigal and as undeserving as we are. Ask of me! Even when a father is wounded and offended by his son, even then, you feel sure that you have his heartstrings in your hand when you go to ask him for things that concern his son; and that even though he is a bad son: even when he sends you away in anger, his fatherly bowels move over you as you depart: and he looks out at his door to see if you are coming back to ask him again concerning his son. And when you take boldness and venture back, he falls on your neck and says, Command me all that is in your heart concerning my son. Now, that is the “dignity of causality,” that in which you are the cause of a father taking home again his son: and the cause of a son saying, I will arise and go to my father. That is your “magnificent office.” That is your “royal priesthood.”

Ch. 10: Battle Strategy
...Every Christian must develop a buoyant prayer life. Special efforts are necessary at first to combat laziness, distractions, and slow progress, but if persevered in, prayer becomes like breathing, a spontaneous turning of your spirit toward God for encouragement, guidance, thanksgiving, and fellowship.
The Christian who is telling others how to know God through Christ will grow rapidly in strength. This spiritual exercise develops stamina, alertness, and sensitivity to our Commander's direction. A soul-winning Christian is a soldier on the move for God.
Paul was speaking of the spiritual-mental battle with Satan when he admonished: "Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2).
The mind is the command post of action -- the headquarters that is surrounded by the enemy. "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal (fleshly), but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4,5).
A person's thoughts are like people who populate a community: friendly, contentious, kind, malicious, virtuous, evil, virile, cowardly, optimistic, cynical. We prosper in a pure mental neighborhood and wither in a foul one. And we can choose our mental neighborhood! God, through Paul, directed:
"Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" (Philippians 4:8).
Our minds are "renewed" by filling them with God's thoughts -- the words and concepts of the Bible -- so that unworthy and evil thoughts are expelled by the influx of godly thoughts...
[Bounds, E.M. (1979). The Weapon of Prayer.]
I. PRAYER ESSENTIAL TO GOD
...It must never be forgotten that Almighty God rules this world. He is not an absentee God. His hand is ever on the throttle of human affairs. He is everywhere present in the concerns of time. “His eyes behold, his eyelids try the children of men.” He rules the world just as He rules the Church by prayer. This lesson needs to be emphasized, iterated and reiterated in the ears of men of modern times and brought to bear with cumulative force on the consciences of this generation whose eyes have no vision for the eternal things, whose ears are deaf toward God.
Nothing is more important to God than prayer in dealing with mankind. But it is likewise all-important to man to pray. Failure to pray is failure along the whole line of life. It is failure of duty, service, and spiritual progress. God must help man by prayer. He who does not pray, therefore, robs himself of God’s help and places God where He cannot help man. Man must pray to God if love for God is to exist. Faith and hope, and patience and all the strong, beautiful, vital forces of piety are withered and dead in a prayerless life. The life of the individual believer, his personal salvation, and personal Christian graces have their being, bloom and fruitage in prayer.
All this and much more can be said as to the necessity of prayer to the being, and culture of piety in the individual. But prayer has a larger sphere, a more obligated duty, a loftier inspiration. Prayer concerns God, whose purposes and plans are conditioned on prayer. His will and His glory are bound up in praying. The days of God’s splendour and renown have always been the great days of prayer. God’s great movements in this world have been conditioned on, continued and fashioned by prayer. God has put Himself in these great movements just as men have prayed. Present, prevailing, conspicuous and mastering prayer has always brought God to be present. The real and obvious test of a genuine work of God is the prevalence of the spirit of prayer. God’s mightiest forces surcharge and impregnate a movement when prayer’s mightiest forces are there.
God’s movement to bring Israel from Egyptian bondage had its inception in prayer. Thus early did God and the human race put the fact of prayer as one of the granite forces upon which His world movements were to be based.
Hannah’s petition for a son began a great prayer movement for God in Israel. Praying women, whose prayers like those of Hannah, can give to the cause of God men like Samuel, do more for the Church and the world than all the politicians on earth. Men born of prayer are the saviours of the state, and men saturated with prayer give life and impetus to the Church. Under God they are saviours and helpers of both Church and state.
We must believe that the divine record of the facts about prayer and God are given in order that we might be constantly reminded of Him, and be ever refreshed by the faith that God holds His Church for the entire world, and that God’s purpose will be fulfilled. His plans concerning the Church will most assuredly and inevitably be carried out. That record of God has been given without doubt that we may be deeply impressed that the prayers of God’s saints are a great factor, a supreme factor, in carrying forward God’s work, with facility and in time. When the Church is in the condition of prayer God’s cause always flourishes and His kingdom on earth always triumphs. When the Church fails to pray, God’s cause decays and evil of every kind prevails. In other words, God works through the prayers of His people, and when they fail Him at this point, decline and deadness ensue. It is according to the divine plans that spiritual prosperity comes through the prayer-channel. Praying saints are God’s agents for carrying on His saving and providential work on earth. If His agents fail Him, neglecting to pray, then His work fails. Praying agents of the Most High are always forerunners of spiritual prosperity...
...Prayer cannot be retired as a secondary force in this world. To do so is to retire God from the movement. It is to make God secondary. The prayer ministry is an all-engaging force. It must be so, to be a force at all. Prayer is the sense of God’s need and the call for God’s help to supply that need. The estimate and place of prayer is the estimate and place of God. To give prayer the secondary place is to make God secondary in life’s affairs. To substitute other forces for prayer, retires God and materializes the whole movement...
...The Apostles were as dependent upon prayer as other folks. Sacred work,—Church activities—may so engage and absorb us as to hinder praying, and when this is the case, evil results always follow. It is better to let the work go by default than to let the praying go by neglect. Whatever affects the intensity of our praying affects the value of our work. “Too busy to pray” is not only the keynote to backsliding, but it mars even the work done. Nothing is well done without prayer for the simple reason that it leaves God out of the account. It is so easy to be seduced by the good to the neglect of the best, until both the good and the best perish. How easily may men, even leaders in Zion, be led by the insidious wiles of Satan to cut short our praying in the interests of the work! How easy to neglect prayer or abbreviate our praying simply by the plea that we have Church work on our hands. Satan has effectively disarmed us when he can keep us too busy doing things to stop and pray...
[Torrey, R.A. (Mar. 2, 1987). The Power of Prayer.]
...You will find these seven words in James 4:2, the seven closing words of the verse, “Ye have not, because ye ask not.” These seven words contain the secret of the poverty and powerlessness of the average Christian, of the average minister, and of the average church. “Why is it,” many a Christian is asking, “that I make such poor progress in my Christian life? Why do I have so little victory over sin? Why do I win so few souls to Christ? Why do I grow so slowly into the likeness of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?” And God answers in the words of the text: “Neglect of prayer. You have not, because you ask not.”
“Why is it,” many a minister is asking, “that I see so little fruit from my ministry? Why are there so few conversions? Why does my church grow so slowly? Why are the members of my church so little helped by my ministry, and built up so little in Christian knowledge and life?” And again God replies: “Neglect of prayer. You have not, because you ask not.”
“Why is it,” both ministers and churches are asking, “that the church of Jesus Christ is making such slow progress in the world today? Why does it make so little headway against sin, against unbelief, against error in all its forms? Why does it have so little victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil? Why is the average church member living on such a low plane of Christian living? Why does the Lord Jesus Christ get so little honor from the state of the church today?” And, again, God replies: “Neglect of prayer. You have not, because you ask not.”...
...I think it would be perfectly safe to say that the church of Christ was never in all its history so fully, so skillfully and so thoroughly and so perfectly organized as it is today. Our machinery is wonderful; it is just perfect, but, alas, it is machinery without power; and when things do not go right, instead of going to the real source of our failure, our neglect to depend on God and look to God for power, we look around to see if there is not some new organization we can get up, some new wheel that we can add to our machinery. We have altogether too many wheels already. What we need is not so much some new organization, some new wheel, but “the Spirit of the living creature in the wheels” we already possess.
I believe that the devil stands and looks at the church today and laughs in his sleeve as he sees how its members depend on their own scheming and powers of organization and skillfully devised machinery. “Ha, ha,” he laughs, “you may have your Boy Scouts, your costly church edifices, your multi-thousand-dollar church organs, your brilliant university-bred preachers, your high-priced choirs, your gifted sopranos and altos and tenors and bases, your wonderful quartets, your immense men’s Bible classes, yes, and your Bible conferences, and your Bible institutes, and your special evangelistic services, all you please of them; it does not in the least trouble me, if you will only leave out of them the power of the Lord God Almighty sought and obtained by the earnest, persistent, believing prayer that will not take no for an answer.” But when the devil sees a man or woman who really believes in prayer, who knows how to pray, and who really does pray, and, above all, when he sees a whole church on its face before God in prayer, “he trembles” as much as he ever did, for he knows that his day in that church or community is at an end...

Chapter 1: Who is the Trouble Maker?
...Satan has no defense for the Word of God. He has no defense against the Lordship of Jesus or the Name of Jesus. He has no defense against the born-again believer who is walking in faith and acting on the Word of God. He has no defense against these because Jesus said that all power has been given unto Him both in heaven and in earth. Satan has been stripped of his power.
He knows he is defenseless, so in order to stop the revelation of God's Word in the believer, his only tool is deception. He must sow a deception--something that sounds good and looks good but is really a wolf in sheep's clothing. He usually does this most successfully in the area of religion. He uses religion to blind and deceive through religious tradition. Satan has robbed the Church of her power. He has no real defense against our real spiritual weapons, but he can easily defend himself against our carnal, religious traditions.
Let's read from the book of James and find out what God's Word has to say about our troubles and shed the light on religious tradition.
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
- James 1:2-8
Notice that James 1:3 says that the trying of your faith works patience. It does not say that the trying of your faith is to teach you or that it perfects your faith or makes your faith strong. Faith is strengthened by the Word of God, according to Romans 10:17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So, the trying of your faith works, or exercises, patience.
Now, what does patience mean? The definition of patience is not "to put up with" like many of us think. The dictionary says that to be patient is "to be constant, or the same way, all the time regardless of the circumstances." This is the way we, as believers, must be--patient, stable, consistent, the same way all the time. Regardless of our circumstances, regardless of what the game of life throws at us, we should always respond in exactly the same way: "Thus saith the Word of God!" When we respond this way, we take on the same attribute as Jesus--the same yesterday, today, and forever. This is the reason Jesus is always the same--He never varies to the right or the left from the Word of God.
James 1:4 tells us that, if we will let patience have her perfect work, we will be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. A patient man is a stable man. He is a constant man. He is a single-minded man. He doesn't have to ask himself, Who is the troublemaker? Is God my problem or is it Satan? Is there a shady area between the two?...

Chapter 1: The Russians' Avid Thirst for Christ
An Atheist Finds Christ
I was orphaned from the first years of my life. Being brought up in a family in which no religion was recognized, I received no religious education as a child. As the result of a bitter childhood, which included knowing poverty in the difficult years of World War I, at age fourteen I was as convinced an atheist as the Communists are today. I had read atheistic books, and it was not just that I did not believe in God or Christ -- I hated these notions, considering them harmful for the human mind. So I grew up in bitterness toward religion.
But as I understood afterward, I had the grace to be one of the chosen of God for reasons that I don't understand. These reasons had nothing to do with my character, because my character was very bad.
Although I was an atheist, something unreasonable always attracted me to churches. I found it difficult to pass a church without entering it. However, I never understood what was happening in these churches. I listened to the sermons, but they didn't appeal to my heart. I had an image of God as a master whom I should have to obey. I hated this wrong image of God that I had in my mind, but I would have liked very much to know that a loving heart existed somewhere in the center of this universe. Since I had known few of the joys of childhood and youth, I longed that there should be a loving heart beating for me, too...
...One day, being a very convinced atheist, I prayed to God. My prayer was something like this: "God, I know surely that You do not exist. But if perchance You exist, which I contest, it is not my duty to believe in You; it is Your duty to reveal Yourself to me." I was an atheist, but atheism did not give peace to my heart.
During this time of inner turmoil, an old carpenter in a village high up in the mountains of Romania prayed like this: "My God, I have served you on earth and I wish to have my reward on earth as well as in heaven. And my reward should be that I should not die before I bring a Jew to Christ, because Jesus was from the Jewish people. But I am poor, old, and sick. I cannot go around and seek a Jew. In my village there are none. Bring a Jew into my village and I will do my best to bring him to Christ."
Something irresistible drew me to that village. I had no reason to go there. Romania has twelve thousand villages, but I went to that one. Seeing I was a Jew, the carpenter courted me as never a beautiful girl had been courted. He saw in me the answer to his prayer and gave me a Bible to read. I had read the Bible out of cultural interest many ties before. But the Bible he gave me was another kind of Bible. As he told me some time later, he and his wife prayed together for hours for my conversion and that of my wife. The Bible he gave me was written not so much in words, but in flames of love fired by his prayers. I could barely read it. I could only weep over it, comparing my bad life with the life of Jesus; my impurity with His righteousness; my hatred with His love -- He accepted me as one of His own...
[Ing, Richard (2008). Waging Spiritual Warfare (p. 184-185). Whitaker House.]
CHAPTER 11 ENGAGING THE ENEMY
There is power in agreement, or unity. When two pray together, the power increases tenfold. Only through prayer can "one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight" (Deuteronomy 32:30). It is a spiritual principle. Satan's demons have power. On our own, we are no match for Satan's strongmen. Their power, however, is no match for the power of God. Even one church fighting alone would have a difficult time, depending on the strength of the ruler assigned by Satan. True, a few individuals acting alone may possess enough spiritual power to confront ruler spirits by themselves. However, they would still be inadequate to spark worldwide revival.
It is vital that churches come together to pray against Satan's ruler spirits. The more that churches pray to bind ruler spirits, the more likely is their success. If churches all over the world would begin praying for one another and binding the ruler spirits over areas around the world, the power released would be incredible.
When one church fights against Satan's demonic kingdom, he can muster his troops against that church, but if many churches begin to pray to bind up spirits in other countries around the world, he cannot shut everyone up. Imagine a few hundred or even thousands of churches all over the world binding up ruler spirits over your church or country. Prayers against his ruler spirits would come from all directions and the spiritual power they release would be exceedingly powerful.
It is imperative that we join in binding up Satan's ruler spirits over the Philippines, Fiji, Vanuatu, Singapore, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Hong King, China, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and all over the world. Pray for us and we will pray for you...

Ch. 1 Welcome To Wicca
The Power of Prayer
I’d sent in a check to the Church of Satan. When it came back from the bank, a note was written on it in a delicate, feminine hand: “I’ll be praying for you in Jesus’ name.” A woman at the bank had noticed to whom the check was drafted and decided to intercede for miserable me before the throne of Almighty God!
I sneered at the check. After all, I thought, Jesus had been a witch. He did what I did! He approved, because he’d reincarnated as a worldclass satanist himself!
Within days, things began to happen. I lost my job, my wife got sick, I got sick, and my satanic mentor, so powerful and self-assured, got in a serious truck accident and ended up in the hospital with grievous abdominal injuries. His previously limitless supply of money from California dried up, and I was effectively cut off from all my powerful new contacts.
Although I was still practicing magick and finding new innocent college students every month to sign a pact with Satan, I found that my magick power was drying up again. My psychic powers and intuition were fogging over, and nothing I could do would bring it back! I got desperate! I began doing spells and praying to my god for some kind of sign as to what we were doing wrong.
Now I praise God for this, because if things had kept going well, I never would have kept searching. I thought I had all the answers, in the “undefiled wisdom” of Satan. But the Lord God was breaking me and molding me into a more fit vessel for His service. It would take five years of searching and a perilous time in the dreadful crucible of Mormonism, that clever counterfeit of Christianity, before I would really come to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior; but that, as they say, is another tale.
Suffice it to say, I learned that Wicca is a sweet, beguiling, but dangerous fantasy. I pray that in the remainder of this book, I can demonstrate how truly dangerous it is.

Chapter 9: Selling My Soul to the Devil
Losing My Soul
The morning after the ceremony, I stepped quietly into the bathroom, leaned into the mirror, and looked at my reflection. My dark eyes glowed with an inner fire that spoke of the contract I had made the night before. The cross-shaped cut on my forehead still oozed, raw and bloody, and the various other cuts on my body stung the way untreated wounds always do— especially after a night of sleeping on a cold concrete floor. I changed into a clean set of clothes, all white, and put on a baseball cap to cover the wound on my forehead. Not wanting to wake the other initiates, who were still asleep on the basement floor, I slipped out the door as silent as a mouse and headed for the nearest diner.
The diner bustled with early-morning business, and as I stood in line at the counter I thought back to everything that had happened the night before.
“Next . . . can I help you?” the counter clerk said.
I turned my eyes toward the woman and she recoiled. Instantly I knew she could sense the evil in me.
“I’ll have a chocolate donut and a hot chocolate,” I said, my eyes boring into hers.
The woman’s hand trembled as she rang up my order. “Are you all right?” she asked in a timid voice.
I lifted up my hat and showed her the cross carved into my flesh. “I just sold my soul to the devil last night.”
She went pale. “Oh, my God!”
“Anything else you want to know? Just give me my donut!” I threw my money on the counter and waited for the order to come up. As I waited, I felt a presence of something else in the diner, something I couldn’t put my finger on. I turned to look down the length of booths that lined the wall of the diner. Nothing but customers— regular people out for breakfast and their daily caffeine fix. Years later I learned that a woman sitting at a back booth with a friend saw me dressed all in white and knew that I was a Palero Tata. Unbeknownst to me, she lifted her hands in prayer that day, and her prayers were for me.

Chapter 5: Propensities of High Vicious Occult
STRANGE THICK SMOKE
As my initiation was almost getting to an end, a very powerful, mysterious, strange and thick smoke of fire forced itself into our midst whilst there was confusion among us. This was around 2 a.m. This strange smoke had the potency to discomfit and chain any spirit being or human agent of esoteric powers at that moment. Thus, each and everyone of us, including Gopinatha and Katamimshaa, strived to escape from this smoke. While we were escaping, Sat Gopinatha ordered that we should trace the source of this ubiquitous smoke.
Without much ado, we followed a different route to trace the origin of this thick smoke that same hour. We discovered among other things that the smoke came from a certain house in Nairobi, Kenya, where only five believers in Our Lord Jesus Christ were solely engaged in praying and calling upon the Name and the Blood of Jesus Christ.
These brethren were earnestly praying and calling upon the Holy Ghost Fire, in the Name of Jesus Christ, to bamboozle the forces of darkness in the Land, in the Air, and in the Sea. They were calling upon the Blood of Jesus Christ to discomfit demonic operations. They specifically mentioned that the Lord should banish any meeting of the powers of darkness in the water. I saw and observed that each of these five brethren were like a pillar of fire out of which proceeded the powerful smoke. We did not see any of them like an ordinary human being. To this end, we fled from them without making any effort to further approach them. This incident revealed the potency of prayer of the living Saints to me for the first time.
In his book, ‘Purpose in Prayer’, E.M. Bounds wrote:
“The more praying there is in the world, the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil everywhere. Prayer, in one phase of its operation, is a disinfectant and a preventive. It purifies the air; it destroys the contagion of evil… Prayer and a holy life are one. They mutually act and react. Neither can one survive alone. The absence of the one is the absence of the other.” The Bible says concerning the prayer of believers:
“And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.” - Revelation 8:4.
The above verse of the Bible is an indication that the prayer of believers could operate as smoke. Indeed, as there is no power in the universe that can escape the immutable authority of Christ, so there is no occult, or witchcraft operation in any realm of existence that can escape the spiritual authority of those who truly worship the Father through Christ.
“But as many as receive Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them which believe on His name.” - John 1:12.
This is the True Power, the Living Power, the Free Power, the Highest Power. Yes! As many as receive Christ are ‘given the bona-fide Power to become the sons and daughters of the Most High God (JEHOVAH). The authority to live and move as a child of God is the highest authority that an individual can have in this universe.
One may claim to be a child of God, but he may not have the true spiritual authority to do so. Consequently, there would be no spiritual Power in his claims because they are bogus. The spiritual Power that upholds the sonship of God is only for as many as believe in Christ. It is only such believers that can overcome the forces of darkness.

Chapter 5 Strange Happenings
...The first spiritual attacks must have opened me to the spirit world because after those attacks the demonic attacks came more frequently and were more rampant; especially with the evil presence that would hang over me.
Sometimes Kathy told me that she would miss me when I died. She must have told me this because she was confident that with the blood covenant in place her mission of destroying my life was soon coming to a close.
But I did not take her seriously every time she told me such things. She would also tell me how it would take her no time to kill a man like me. I guess she also told me that because she was confident that the Queen of the Coast would readily help her in destroying my life. But being ignorant of spiritual things, I only took her words for a joke.
Around the time of the first wave of spiritual attacks, Kathy and I were out for a walk one night when I started praying aloud. The spiritual attacks were still raging and I prayed whenever I felt troubled in my spirit. While praying that night, I called on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, I called on the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord, I called on the fire of the Holy Spirit, and I called on the Almighty God for deliverance from the demonic attacks coming against my life.
Kathy stood there quietly as I prayed; but when I was done her eyes looked very reddish. She later told me that while I was praying she saw spiritual beings fleeing the area where we stood. Kathy told me that among those beings were a woman carrying a child and a serpent with two horns.
The Lord was speaking to me about true worship in my morning prayer time when this message came.
My people do not enter all the way in to where I am and they walk away dissatisfied - unfulfilled, and thinking I came up short when in reality it is their worship that falls short.
The need to worship Me is a need I placed in My people and the world has nothing that can fill this need. Only My presence fulfills you in this way. I desire My people to draw near to My throne and worship Me, to experience My beauty and feel My holiness, to draw strength from Me. When you draw near to Me in this way, you feel My power and you are less afraid of the enemy. You feel My love for you and you know My protection there.
If My people will do what is right and make time to worship Me, they will not be disappointed with the results. The world will disappoint you, but My love never disappoints. My love is always perfect, always faithful. It is an everlasting love no man or woman can take away from you, My children. I delight in your true worship of Me, My children, even when your attempts are feeble. I will teach you if you will press in to Me.
Many of you give up too easily on the things of My kingdom when you do not see your desires manifest immediately. You deny yourselves the greater blessing when you do this for My kingdom overflows with mighty blessings for those willing to spend the time to press in and truly seek Me, those who long to see My face, those who long for My voice, My presence. Those who want to draw near to Me to know Me. These are My true children and for them I have showers of blessings waiting to be released.
...But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him...
...But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works...
...Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded...
There will now come an increase in revelations to My people who study and show themselves approved before Me, and who pray and intercede in their prayer closets for the lost of the world.
Dear to My heart are those who continuously intercede for My lost sheep, for they are precious in My sight, and I shall reward you greatly who do this.
Ask Me for your heart's desires!
You who watch for My Son's soon return and prayer over the souls and lives of those you do not know have treasure abounding both on earth and awaiting you in heaven, for there is no better use of your time. (I felt strongly that this last sentence was a word for someone who has been asking about prioritizing their time)
To these will I grant many treasures in My Word and in the earth!
2 Timothy 2:15
...Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth...
...And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly...
...How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?...
...Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal...
...Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart...
This message is from the Holy Spirit who lives inside every person that has trusted in, clings to and relies on Jesus Christ to be their savior and Lord.
Do you realize that half of the reason that Jesus died was so that we could have the Holy Spirit living inside of us. He went away so that The Comforter could come and now we are the Temples of the Living God, not built by human hands.
My friends, I desire that you would hear God's voice for YOURSELF. In the times that are coming upon this world you will need to hear The Holy Spirit's voice so I am going to tell you how.
Firstly you need to sit quietly before The Lord the way that Mary did. Many of you are like Martha running here and there doing "The Lord's work" but you hardly ever spend alone time with Him.
When you make the practice of sitting at His feet every day and listening to the still small voice you just KNOW the difference. Jesus said, My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
The Way that works best for me is, every morning I get up and I worship Him with music before I do anything else. I sit there or kneel or lay prostrate or with my hands raised. However the Spirit leads me, I’m not religious about it. At first if you are not used to doing this it may seem odd and you may just want to start with 10 or 15 mins, but you will want to go longer once His presence starts to overwhelm your entire being. When this happens an hour is like no time at all, just soak yourself in His presence. You need to enter into the Secret Place of the Most High (Psalm 91) Brothers and sisters please do NOT just come to Him with a big long prayer list. Treat Him like your lover because HE IS! There is NO ONE that loves you more and you should feel the same way about Him! FOCUS ON HIM AND ONLY HIM! Once everything gets going I speak and sing in tongues (I will not get into that debate, Paul said to forbid Not speaking in tongues 1 Cor 14:39) it is always the perfect prayer from the Holy Spirit. He prays for things that you don't even know that you have need of and it is always The Fathers perfect will. Then I also pray for some requests with my understanding.
After all that is done is when you should stay silent and wait for Him to speak to you. NO it probably won't be audible (at least for me it isn't), but thoughts will start to enter your head that aren't yours. He might just say “I love you" or "I want you to do such and such" or " I need you to work on so and so" Whatever it is obey Him. The longer you do this the clearer His voice will get and you can have conversations back and forth with Him all day long.
Telling His thoughts from your sometimes is a little harder and that is when you ask Him to show you confirmation from a couple of different sources, maybe a godly friend, pastor or someone you know that hears The Holy Spirit.
It is my experience that if God is speaking to you about a certain thing He will NOT let it go until you do what He is asking of you. You will have an urge or an unction from The Holy Spirit to do something, and I suggest that you step out in faith and do it. Do not be afraid to step out especially if the thing you are feeling to do is good to do anyways. Do not be afraid to make a mistake or two at first, Satan will never tell you to do anything that is good, He will tell you that what you are hearing is all in your head and it’s all lies. If you feel like you should give someone encouragement by all means do it! If you believe you are to rebuke or reprimand someone give a lot more prayer to see if that's really what He would have you do.
Whatever you do, do it in love.
Lastly God's voice is still and small for He is the humblest of all. You will need to turn down the volume of the outside world to hear Him, but I will tell you it is worth it!
I just want to point out that I am not yet perfect and occasionally I make a mistake. I do not hear His voice perfectly either but I hear Him a lot better now than I even did last year. We all need to try to hear Him better, because one day the internet will be silenced and you will not be able to see or hear what the prophets are saying. If you know the voice of the Holy Spirit yourself, He will guide you into all truth.
Love and Blessings!
My children this is your Abba Father.
How I long for you to get to know Me more, I want to be intimate with you.
You need to spend time with just you and Me alone. You need to go into our chamber and just BE with me. Exist only for Me for a little while each day. Shut off all devices except those used to worship Me. Music will get you where you need to be with Me quicker. You will feel it, in the spirit, when you have reached the Holy of Holies. You need to stay there with me for a while. I know you have families, jobs and responsibilities. I do not require all of your time here. Most of you reading this spend almost no time in the secret place with me. Have I not said in My word that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty?
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust?
I will protect My own but the things of this world mean nothing to Me. I will destroy them all!
Ask yourself My children; how many things of this world do you love? If you love the things of the world I do not have your whole heart. Confess before Me now the things that come before Me, I already know, but You need to. I tell you the truth the day is coming when all of men's devices will be rendered useless. In that day how will you get a "word" from Me? Do you know how to hear My voice for yourself? This is why you need to spend alone time with Me. My sheep hear My voice and another they will not follow. You will hear a word behind you, saying "This is the way" walk in it, and you will turn to the right and to the left at My leading. I speak in still small voice for I AM meek and humble. I AM not loud and boisterous and flamboyant like the enemy. He loves chaos, I love peace and My peace I give to you, because I have overcome the world and I have given you the power to overcome the world too.
This is how you discern if a "word" is from Me: do you have peace or is there fear and uneasiness? You only need to fear Me. My Holy Spirit inside will tell you if a word is from Me and it will line up with the written word also. When My Holy Spirit is grieved it is not from me. Do not listen to those who itch your ears, for they only say they are speaking for Me, but they have not heard from Me. They speak of blessings and reprieve of judgment, yet none of the conditions have been met. There is no repentance in the land! There are some out there that heard from Me in times past, but became foolish virgins and fell asleep. In their groggy stupor they think they are hearing from Me but it is the enemy speaking to them, he knows how to imitate My voice. This is why you must remain awake, sober and vigilant to spend alone time with Me.
Now is the time to be like the Shunammite woman. Gather all the vessels you can, get your small jar of oil and start pouring it out into other vessels. Get as many vessels as you can and I will fill them with my oil of gladness, my liquid love, My HOLY SPIRIT. Pour the oil out and you will receive as much as is required, if you fall asleep and do not pour out your oil you will not have enough and your lamp will go out like the 5 foolish virgins. Why did I say to them "I do not know you"? It is because the extra oil, liquid love, Holy Spirit comes from Me and I give it freely. They had not been spending time with Me. I tell you the truth My virgins there is not much time left to get to know me.
With Me all things are possible, I AM the GOD of miracles!
Come to Me now and I will give you enough oil to get through the coming thick black darkness.
For I will then say to you "Arise, shine; For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising."
Listen to your Father for I have great things for you to do, but you must spend alone time with Me.
AM I not the Good Father and are you not loved by Me? All good fathers discipline their children, the evil father lets his children run wild and do whatever their hearts desire.
Come to Me now I will give you oil and light the flame inside you to burn out your impurities and you will be like fine silver and gold. Remember children, the fire of persecution purifies and though it does not please your flesh,
the eternal benefits and rewards are amazing!
If you purify yourselves now it will be much less painful.
I love you more than you will ever know,
Your Abba Father
On Friday, April 28, I was seeking Yahushua for answers about prayer. A close friend contacted me, telling me his mother had died suddenly, and he didn't know if she was saved. As we all have done at some point in our lives, we question how effectual our prayers are, especially for those who don't know the Lord prior to their passing. Directly after receiving communion, Father gave me a vision and has led me to share it, as it brings great consolation to all who may question the power of prayer, especially the prayers of the righteous.
Note: It is my understanding that I was shown this soul's experience in the moments just before physical death.
I was in Father's courtroom, standing in the back, watching how Father God sees an unsaved soul and determines his or her eternal destiny. I saw a man, a lost soul, standing directly in front of Father with his head hung very low and his eyes closed. I understood that he instinctively knew that he was guilty as charged and had no defense, as his life of sin was directly before him. Satan the adversary was on the left with many demons to testify of the man's guilt, and the saints who had gone before were on the right to present the testimony of all the prayers of the saints that have ever been recorded to intercede for the lost. Although the evidence from the enemy was more than sufficient to convict the man, the prayers of the saints outweighed anything the enemy could present. Father's love for His people is beyond measure and takes precedent over anything the enemy will ever be able to offer against us.
Yahushua was on the man's right side, a distance away observing. He did not speak, but waited to see if the man would invite Him into his heart, so that He could intercede as the man's advocate, covering the man with His robe of righteousness and His shed blood. Father then allowed me to understand that in His infinite mercy, and because the hearts of His chosen are One with Him, He would allow this man to chose at the last instant, His Son, Yahushua, although the man had not previously confessed Him as his Lord and Savior.
Then Father speaks:
I wish My people to know daughter, tell them. There is no greater commandment than to love one another. As One heart in Me, you are charged to assist Me in saving souls, for I came to seek and save the lost. You are My priests and it is in your hands to walk in the fulness of all you were purposed for. There is no greater joy for My Father than to bring My lost sheep home. I have commanded you to pray for those who are hardened to Me. Pray for those in deception, and therefore despair. Pray for those the enemy steals, that their spiritual eyes and ears may be opened to the relationship I have for them.
Come before Me in holiness and purity daily, confessing your sins and asking for forgiveness. Your temples, My vessels, must be free of willful sin for Me to answer your petitions. Intercede on behalf of all who walk in darkness, for I wish that not one would perish. Do not underestimate the power of your prayers when your hearts are in unity with Me. I have given you all power, authority and dominion over the enemy and you must exercise your authority. What you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven and what you bind here is bound also in My Kingdom. Boldly come before My Throne of grace and expect great things. Trust in the promises I have given you in My Word. Pray without ceasing. Fast and travail with great love and concern for the salvation of all who were created by Me. Plead My Blood constantly, for in this, the victory is already won. Proclaim verbally My truths and satan will flee.
It is time for My church to walk in the fulness of the power and authority given to her by My life's sacrifice. So as you are seeing the manifestation of evil upon evil in the earth, allow this to be your war-cry, and passionately present your petitions to Me as each and every utterance, with My love in your heart and My glorification being the motive, has great value in My Kingdom.
I have spoken these words to you previously-- as the dark grows darker, My Bride rises higher.
Believe! Believe My power in and through you is a weapon of great destruction to the enemy's camp. Very soon you will see the importance of what I am speaking.
...A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another...
...For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost...
1 Peter 2:5-9
...(5)e also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (6)Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. (7)Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, (8)And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. (9)But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light...
...(3)And he spake this parable unto them, saying, (4)What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? (5)And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. (6)And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. (7)I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance...
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
...(3)But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: (4)In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them...
...To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me...
1 Timothy 2:1-6
...(1)I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (2)For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. (3)For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; (4)Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (5)For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (6)Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time...
2 Peter 3:9
...The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance...

...And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us...
2 Timothy 2:25-26
...(25)In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; (26)And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will...
...Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you...
...And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force...
...And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh...
...Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them...

...Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints...
...If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me...
...And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven...
1 Thessalonians 5:17
...Pray without ceasing...
...Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need...
...(12)Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: (13)And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil...
...Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you...
...All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits...
...I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore...
