...(23)And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. (24)But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal. (25)And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.
(26)Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times. (27)Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. (28)Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
(29)Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. (30)Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
(31)Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
(32)Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD...
...(6)And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose; (7)Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD. (8)They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.
(9)When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. (10)There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, (11)Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. (12)For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
(13)Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
(14)For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so do to...
I Samuel 15:10-23
...(10)Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, (11)It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night. (12)And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal. (13)And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.
(14)And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? (15)And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
(16)Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on. (17)And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel? (18)And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. (19)Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
(20)And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. (21)But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
(22)And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
(23)For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king...
II Kings 21:1-16
...(1)Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah. (2)And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. (3)For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
(4)And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name. (5)And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
(6)And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. (7)And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: (8)Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
(9)But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
II Chronicles 33:1-13
...(1)Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem: (2)But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
(3)For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them. (4)Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever. (5)And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. (6)And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
(7)And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: (8)Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
(9)So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.
(10)And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken. (11)Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
(12)And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, (13)And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God...
...(18)The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying, (19)Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city. (20)Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced. (21)For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. (22)At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, to build a fort. (23)And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
(24)Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand. (25)And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, (26)Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
(27)I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him...
...(16)And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: (17)The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. (18)And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
(19)And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, (20)And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, (21)And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.
(22)And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. (23)And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: (24)Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks...

..."When you stop and think about how many people are digging astrology these days, the Age of Aquarius, and all that, it's a little frightening," Sue said softly.
"More than a little -- and estimated 40 million Americans consult a horoscope, aided by 10,000 professional and 175,000 part-time astrologers who make astrology a $200 million-a-year business. Also about five million people plan their entire lives by their daily horoscope and won't even get out of bed before consulting it," Dave explained.
I laughed, "I've heard that if a person were to compare several of the daily horoscopes by different newspaper astrologers, they would discover they disagree completely with each other."
"That's true, Mike," Dave answered. "You just shot down another occult!"
"You mentioned Ouija boards -- well, some of our friends' kids use one. Is that bad or particularly harmful?" Janie questioned.
Dave smiled, "Isaac Fuld, who patented the Ouija Board in 1892, stated in his patent application that the planchette 'was moved by a spirit force.' He told the truth. Any time a person invites a spirit to manipulate him in any way, he is leaving himself wide open to demon activity. And today, that 'game' has outsold the game of Monopoly."...

Chapter 10 Punks, Peace, and Politics
...Long before Punk arrived in full force, America had already been softened up, beaten and dazed by its very own Alice Cooper, (from Phoenix, Arizona). After Cooper got through shocking and sickening audiences from coast to coast, teens across the land were more than ready for the bludgeoning death blows of Punk Rock. The group chose its name while playing with a Ouija board one stormy night. A demon claiming to be the spirit of a 13th century witch burned at the stake contacted them and told lead singer Vincent Furnier, (a minister's son) that if he would change his name to Alice Cooper he would become rich and famous, one of the biggest Rock stars of all time. The rest, as they say, is history...
Dream Warfare Journal: 2003-2013 Entries
This entry recounts the first time that I recall publicly dabbling with a Ouija board.
I was 19 at the time and was living with three other roommates in a two-story, four bedroom rental house. We'll call my roommates "Jay", "Donny", and "Trinn" (names changed for privacy).
Late one evening (maybe Fri. or Sat.?), I had just returned home from my job at the movie cinema and noticed that Jay had invited company over. After a short while, we all eventually made our way into Jay's bedroom (which was the master bedroom on the top floor) to have a group session on the Ouija board.
At the time, it seemed like a cool, thrilling thing to do.
Once everyone was seated on the hardwood floor around the board, someone shut off the light. Jay's candle-lit room now reflected the game board, as well as a line of of popular occult movie posters along his bedroom walls (wonder where he got them from...?). Over to my immediate left where I was seated, was a decorative wall-mountable mirror of Donny's also placed upon the floor; which had a dragon scale design engraved around the border (I believe he bought it from an old Bud K catalog;. In either case, I have a very similar photo of it, posted below this entry).
The session started pretty much as most of them seem to do, with all of us asking the board a series of standard-type questions -- as the planchette would then, with all of our hands resting upon it, effortlessly glide itself across the surface; resting briefly upon a letter or number...and then another...to spell out the answer.
Throughout this, certain people in the group swore that they weren't moving the pointer. As for myself, I do recall there being a subtle, yet tangibly firm force which seemed to emanate from the surface portion of the board, itself -- as opposed to feeling any sort of muscling or pulling movement coming from anyone else.
Anyhow, as my turn then came up again -- I decided to ask the spirit if it could reveal itself.
The immediate spelled answer read something like this:
L-O-O-K I-N T-H-E M-I-R-R-O-R.
With my wonder and curiosity now piqued, I leaned over to my left and peered into the dragon mirror's reflection.
Staring back at me was a clear and visible outline of what looked to be an old woman's face becoming superimposed over mine! Others within the room went over and looked at my reflection, also, and can attest to seeing this as well.
As I recall, shortly after this the Ouija board session abruptly ended after a certain mutual friend became agitated (can't exactly recall over what) and cursed out the spirit operating behind the board.

From the brief time I remained in that house, me and my other roommates began experiencing various paranormal events in that house; ranging from dreams, to seeing things in the dark, hearing cabinet doors slam shut when no one else was in the kitchen, etc.

Chapter 9: Tools of the Occult (pg.330-331)
Meaning "yes, yes" (oui in French and ja in German), the Ouija board came into widespread modern use in the year 1848, when Kate and Margaret Fox of Hydesville, New York, claimed they had successfully contacted a dead peddler. This possible communion with the dead created a nationwide frenzy, and public interest in talking to the dead skyrocketed. During their communication with the peddler, the Fox sisters would call out letters of the alphabet and listen for a knocking response that meant either "yes" or "no". Once this information reached the public, it was only a matter of time before human creativity took over. According to the Museum of Talking Boards, inventors tried out a number of strange creations specifically crafted to reach the dead, and a few of these eventually made it to the public marketplace.
The resurgence of Spiritism let to thousands of seances, and eventually to the polishing of an occult device that came to be known as the Ouija board. The board has continued to be a popular "game" distributed by Parker Brothers, which now offers a glow-in-the-dark game board option. Thousands of stories describing personal encounters with spirits through the use of Ouija boards are easily found on the Internet and in books, magazines, and newspapers. These encounters are real, and Ouija boards are a doorway to a dark dimension that is best left closed.
Chapter 1: The Kingdom of the Occult (p. 8-10)
...We come from a family of Spiritists. Everyone in our family practiced mediumship and held seances. I was born again and escaped, by my sister was still in it. She practiced with the Ouija board and went through the whole routine. I was so concerned about her that one night I went over to her home. On the way there, I said to my wife, "Tonight is the night we face her with this."
We arrived and went inside, and she was sitting there with a Ouija board on the table in front of her. I warned her, "I've come here to show you this thing is devilish." She just laughed at me.
I sat down across from her, and the two of us started a dialogue with the Ouija board. (Parker Brothers manufactures the "game" Ouija by the thousands.) And as I sat there in that room, an eerie feeling came over me. I started to ask questions of the Ouija board -- and it answered me.
The first question I asked of this "force" was, "Who are you?"
The force spelled out the word, "S-P-I-R-I-T."
"What is your name?" It refused to give it.
"Were you there when the resurrection of Christ took place?"
The answer came on the board, "Yes."
"What did you experience?"
It was then I began to get very concerned. I asked, "What do you feel toward me?"
"What do you think of the Bible?" It spelled out a four-letter obscenity.
At that point, I decided to break off contact with the Ouija board. So I stoop up from the table, took my Bible, and said, "I'll have no more to do with this. It's devilish." And I threw my Bible in the center of the Ouija board.
At that moment, the board levitated off the table and flipped the Bible in to the air with such force that it flew across the room and hit the wall. My sister and my wife screamed.
As I stood there looking at it, something smashed me in my stomach and knocked me to the floor. I was doubled over -- breathless -- with my head between my knees, and the only thing I could gasp was, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Help!"
My sister said, "Really, you've gone too far now. You're not going to try to fool me anymore."
But I was lying on the floor in such a convincing position that my wife and sister came over to help me. When we pulled up my shirt, there was a red welt the size of a fist over my solar plexus! At that juncture, my sister recognized that I had been hit -- but by nothing visible in that room. The next thing I knew, we were all having a prayer meeting. My sister came out of the occult to Christ, and the Ouija board was splintered and burned...

Ch 17 SPECIFIC DOORS OF ENTRANCE PART 1
The Ouija board was a game developed as an American household “game” by investors, including a William Fuld, who sold it through the Kennard Novelty Company. Fuld became the sole investor and marketed it around the world. He died falling off a ladder at the building the Ouija Board had told him to build. Eventually it was sold to Parker Brothers, which sold it to Hasbro. It was a wildly popular game, did not work for most, and ended up in attics across America. In recent years, it has been repackaged by Hasbro as, among other things, glow in the dark editions, and pretty pastel colored ones to attract young girls. In addition, there is an “angel board” produced by another company, to seduce ignorant church goers and unsuspecting New Agers into thinking that they are actually talking to God’s angels!
We have prayed with so many people who were under horrible oppression that had completely forgotten that they had a Ouija board somewhere in their house. (Usually in the attic!) Great relief was found in getting rid of it. And yes, I recommend burning it. That way there’s no chance of anyone else getting hold of it. And despite all the rumors to the contrary, they do not fly around the room when you try to burn them and they do not show up days after throwing it in the trash. It’s pressboard. It burns quite nicely. I am not saying there may not be some kind of reaction when you do it, but please remember – 99% of everything Satan and his demons do externally is smoke and mirrors to try to terrify people. Don’t be put off by his tricks, no matter how scary they may appear.
The Ouija board has an unknown history, some tracing it back to ancient China. It is just a revision and variation of the ancient “Ob” – “water bottle” divination. In modern times, both poet William Keats and Alcoholics Anonymous founder Bill Wilson were devotees. Wilson even had a “spook room” where they did regular Ouija sessions. (Unfortunately, he was also part of the government LSD program along with “Doors of Perception” Brave New World author Aldous Huxley.) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_W.)
The movie The Exorcist was based on a true story, not of a girl but of a boy who used a Ouija board to talk to a deceased relative, and it opened the door to the drastic full possession which the movie portrayed.
The Ouija Board is an extraordinarily dangerous game, and even people involved in the occult – especially white magick, Wicca and New Age – will tell you to avoid it because it is evil. If those who are doing the occult think it’s dangerous you should pay attention!
The Ouija Board is one of the most sure and quick ways to open demonic doors and invite demonization. It is important that a person repent of any involvement with it, and if they have one, to get rid of it as soon as possible. If a family member or parent or anyone else practiced it, then it’s important to renounce the practice and pray and ask Jesus to cut its influence off from you.
